Accounts person - Accounting Technician

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be well organised with good administrative and number skills.
  • Be flexible and able to cope under pressure.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Be currently in an accounting/bookkeeping role.

Duties will include:

  • preparing the payroll.
  • dealing with invoices and basic book-keeping for clients.
  • bank reconciliations.
  • assisting with audit work.
  • agreeing sales & bought ledger control accounts.
  • monitoring staff expenses.
  • controlling budgets.
  • accounting for resources.
  • maintaining computer accounting systems for clients - Quickbooks.

Profile and skills required:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  •  IT competent and familiar with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel)
  •  Be thorough, precise and produce accurate work
  •  Good organisational skills
  • Experience of working in an office environment.
