Alan
Redfern FCA,
FCCA
Alan
has been a chartered accountant for over forty years.
For
the first ten years of his career, he worked as senior auditor for one
of the big six accounting firms and then as Company Secretary and Financial
Controller for an International group of management consultants.
Alan
has a number of clients abroad and travels regularly throughout Europe
and the Middle East. He has always used his accounting skills, not only for
large companies but also for charities and churches, which are his specialities.
Outside
office hours, Alan is a performing musician who has sung in choirs and played
viola in orchestras in St Albans. He holds a number of positions as Hon.
Treasurer for voluntary groups. Alan's wife, Joyce, is a Senior Midwifery Manager. The Redferns have two grown up
children, Ian, a chartered surveyor and Kristina, a physiotherapist.
